You appeared to me like a beacon in the night,
Seemingly out of nowhere there you were.
You mysterious stranger on the horizon.
I travel forward – drawn to you,
A lonely vessel powered by hopeless romance.
Forever I have sailed amongst rocky waters of solitude,
But there you are in the distance,
Beckoning me to anchor and rest from my weary search.
What would happen if this ship no longer sailed?
The unknown intrigues,
And fear cautions me to run ashore,
To surrender myself into your arms,
I am filled with hesitation…
The very idea ignites my heart –
It may very well burst into flame…
And sink this ship that sails,
Hopelessly through the night.
