Oh Well

I'm going to keep this post short and sweet.

I was let go from the office today. I am a bit disappointed in the situation and in myself for not being good enough to continue in the position as executive assistant. I tried my hardest given my circumstances of juggling two jobs and working as much as I was. I don't know, I feel like the things he mentioned being issues were things that I could improve upon in time, but apparently he didn't feel that I could. He did complement my organizational skills and said im probably the best librarian he's ever seen in action. He also complemented me as a designer based off what he saw in my portfolio. He wished me the best of luck, apologized for having to let me go, and said if I ever needed a reference he would be more than happy to do so.

Looks like taking the job at intelligentsia was a good move since it's full time. If I was staying at Peet's I would not be able to stay here in LA. I wouldn't make enough money. Things will be very tight even working full-time so I will be beginning my job hunt to find a second part-time gig.

Oh well. Things happen for a reason.
